KS1 is divided into three classes:

• ​Mrs Ffion Thomas - Coral class teacher Year 1
• Mrs Vaida Inyang- Ruby class teacher Years 1&2
• Mr Harrison Reeves - Scarlet class teacher Year 2 and Key Stage 1 Phase Leader

The Big Question: Why is it important that all children can go to school?

KS1 Optional Tests

If you have a child in year 2, at the end of key stage 1 (KS1) they may take part in national curriculum tests in:

• English reading
• English grammar, punctuation and spelling
• mathematics

The tests are not mandatory for schools to administer at the end of KS1, but your child’s school may choose to use them to help identify where pupils need additional support as they transition into key stage 2 (KS2).
