Bringing Learning to Life at Legoland!
Our exciting visit was carefully planned to link with several areas of our curriculum, giving the children the opportunity to bring their learning to life in a fun, engaging and memorable environment.
Throughout the day, children took part in a range of activities and experiences, including:
- Miniland – the children explored famous landmarks from around the world, revisiting their geography learning and comparing these global locations with our own local area in Oxfordshire.
- Kingdom of the Pharaohs – linked to our history topic on Ancient Egypt, where the children observed architecture, statues and cultural design to inspire their own creative work.
- Lego Models, Statues and Figurines – supported our Design and Technology learning, as the children gathered ideas and inspiration for designing and creating their own ancient historical structures and figures, including building with Lego.
- Driving School (Electric Cars) – provided a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with previous learning about transport, engineering and electric vehicles.
- Building Opportunities Across the Park – encouraged creativity, problem-solving and teamwork, all key skills we continue to develop in the classroom.
It was a wonderful day of discovery, creativity and hands-on learning, and the children represented the school brilliantly.
