Published 12/05/26Emerald have been developing our art skills by designing and creating clay relief tiles inspired by our topic of Islamic Art ⭐️We explored different patterns and shapes carefully to create our designs. Later this week, we will be trying again to make perfectly symmetrical versions before painting and decorating our finished tiles!

Published 08/05/26In Emerald Class, we explored how materials can change state by adding heat and energy to a solid — chocolate! The children loved observing what happened as the chocolate melted and discussing the different changes they could see. We now know all about freezing, melting, condensation, and evaporation… especially when chocolate is involved!

As we begin May, we also honour Our Lady making this work even more special.
In Year 5/6, pupils have been working hard on biographies inspired by Herstory, and it’s wonderful to see their learning reflected so beautifully in their homework.
