Road Safety with Road on Time
The children in Nursery, Reception and KS1 enjoyed a special visit to learn how to stay safe near roads. We learnt to stop, look and listen before crossing, use our eyes to look for vehicles, our ears to listen for traffic and always hold a grown-up’s hand when crossing the road.
We also learnt a little rhyme to help us remember how to stay safe:
“Holding hands keeps us safe,
Holding hands keeps us safe,
When we are by the road!” 🎵
We even earned our very own driving licences as we practised stopping and going on our ride-on vehicles, putting our new road-safety skills into action!
We’re now ready to be little road-safety superstars, keeping our eyes open, our ears listening and our hands held tight! 🌟🚦
