Healthy Eating and School Meals
At our school, we are committed to helping children develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. A balanced, nutritious lunch helps children stay focused, energised and ready to learn throughout the school day.
We encourage packed lunches to include a variety of healthy foods, such as:
-
Fresh fruit and vegetables
-
Wholegrain foods, such as bread, wraps and pasta
-
Protein sources, including lean meats, eggs, cheese and plant-based alternatives
-
Dairy products, such as yoghurt and cheese
We kindly ask parents to avoid including sweets, chocolate bars and fizzy drinks. Water is the best choice to keep children hydrated throughout the day.
Our school dinners offer a nutritious, balanced menu, carefully planned to meet national food standards while providing a variety of tasty options for all pupils.
By working together, we can encourage children to make positive food choices and develop healthy habits for life. Thank you for your continued support.
Booking School Meals
Booking your child’s school dinner is quick and easy, with all bookings made through the Arbor Parent App. Please see the guide below for step-by-step instructions.
The current cost of a school meal is £2.80 per day.
If your child is bringing a packed lunch from home, there is no need to notify the school or record this on Arbor. If a school meal has not been booked, we will assume your child is bringing a packed lunch.
If you have any questions or experience difficulties booking a meal, please do not hesitate to contact our school office team, who will be happy to help.
